The company’s line of business includes a Website and a Mobile App
Although relatively new in the market, Deafnet is passionate about empowering our deaf community by making the world barrier-free for them with a range of deaf-friendly services. The company’s line of business includes a Website and a Mobile App. The Mobile App features a social media network that brings together the deaf and hard of hearing community and allows them to communicate and be a part of a wider community. Whereas the website aims to make education and career choices easily accessible and understood by the deaf community by assisting them in the educational and professional environment.
As Deafnet continues to make the deaf community’s inclusion a reality, they reached out to our team for a UI/ UX design of their website and mobile app. Considering that the deaf community relies heavily on visuals, it was important for Deafnet to come up with a carefully crafted “design that speaks”
Outcome - App UI
Outcome - Web UI
We collectively created the vision for Deafspace and deafnet.com by incorporating the vast knowledge on the deaf community that we gained as part of our Discovery phase of the project. Together with Deafnet, we built a more accessible future for the deaf community with a brochure website containing a wide selection of external and internal pages ranging from home, why us, about, resources, blog, and contact us. We took a ‘universal design’ approach while telling a compelling story to website visitors as they steer through our simple and intuitive website and app user-interface. The website was built to be accessed and understood to its fullest extent, by everyone, regardless of their diverse abilities.
